Microsoft Paint taught me right.
For the record, it wasn’t a love-at-first-sight, cue firework, AHA moment type of design love story.
It was a gradual, burning, and continuous snowball of tiny moments that, before I knew it, had transformed into love.
✨ One that traces back to the good old days (aka 5th grade) when I made fan club banners courtesy of MS Paint, shamelessly hoping that the cameraman would show them on live TV.
✨ One that helped me earn my reputation as the “go-to tech girl” back in high school after designing Friendster and Myspace profiles for my schoolmates.
✨ One that gave me enough confidence boost to put up my own online shop and sell tees, bookmarks, and photo cards, all proudly designed by me.
✨ One that over time just became a casual hobby consistently haunting me as I lived paycheck to paycheck.
So, although my banners were not shown on live TV (I’m looking at you, Mr. Cameraman) and Myspace went down south (unfortunately),
my love for design remained on fire.
And when passion is on fire, treating it as a mere hobby never keeps the fire burning.
So in a stunning, HEART-LED DECISION , I decided to expand my impact and share my expertise with other passion-driven women and visionary founders to turn their passion projects into profitable businesses through the power of design.
